Our mother, Georgiana went to a walk-in clinic with a stomach ache on a Saturday in May and was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma on May 24, 2011. Two days later she started chemotherapy because liver cancer is fast moving and had already spread to her hip bones and was in her blood. Her cancer is considered stage 4, incurable and her doctor’s prognosis was two years.  Before any of us could comprehend the cancer diagnosis our mother began the fight for her life with strength and determination.    

For those of you who do not personally know our mother she is not one to give up easily.  Our mother is LOVING, GIVING and would never ask for anything. Lucky for my sister and I our mother has taught us to be confident, we are problem solvers, are motivated, and have no problem asking for help.  To assist her with the ongoing treatment that she will have to obtain for the rest of her life we are trying to lessen the stresses of the bills piling up.  100% of your money is going to help our mother with the cost of treatment in the coming year.
